Now providing FREE speech-language screeners at Whatcom Family Village the last Friday of the month from 12pm-2:30pm. Screeners available for kids 18months-15 years old. Screeners are by sign-up appointment, walk-ins accepted upon availability. BOOK BELOW
Wondering if your child’s speech and language skills are on track? Our speech and language screeners provide a quick, play-based check of your child’s communication development. During this 20-minute block, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist observes how your child understands language, expressively communicates, and interacts during play. Screeners help identify whether your child’s skills are developing as expected or if a full evaluation may be helpful. Parents also receive simple guidance and next steps to support their child’s communication at home.
