Feeding Therapy
Feeding therapy supports children who experience challenges with eating, drinking, chewing, swallowing, or trying new foods. Feeding therapy focuses on developing the oral-motor, sensory, and communication skills needed for safe and positive mealtimes.
Therapy may help children who are selective eaters, have difficulty transitioning to new textures, struggle with chewing or swallowing, experience mealtime stress, or have delays related to feeding development. Sessions are individualized and play-based, using a supportive approach to build confidence and reduce pressure around eating.
At Peak Speaks, feeding therapy emphasizes collaboration with families to create enjoyable, functional mealtime experiences while supporting each child’s unique developmental needs.
